No, not the name of a beachbuster novel, but a sensible move by the Government to give small firms free access to its procurement website.

The Government is scrapping the £180 subscription fee for small businesses to view contracts on its www.supply2.gov.uk website. Business Minister Shriti Vadera says that the free service is 'an interim step' toward introducing a single website for all public sector contracts in 2010.
