Planting now for Christmas . . .

Best marketing ploy seen recently on a packet of seeds: 'Try these for Christmas lunch  - the tastiest sprout'. Unfortunately our festive vegetables will have to come from the freezer section at the supermarket as the tiny seedlings that grew didn't survive the ravages of slugs. Proves they were tasty, though.
